Former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo, in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net, explained why Arman Tsarukyan was left without a title fight.

Tsarukyan deserved the right to fight for the title. But I understand why Dana White and the UFC didn't give him a title shot. Because Arman didn't fight when the UFC and Dana needed him to. So he had an opportunity. And now White is saying, 'Hey, get to the back of the line.' If I were Tsarukyan, I would fight as often as I can. Because you need to get better.
Earlier, Dana White announced an interim UFC lightweight championship bout between Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett, which will take place on January 25 at UFC 324. The winner will later fight Ilia Topuria.
On November 22 at UFC Fight Night 265, Tsarukyan defeated Dan Hooker via submission in the second round. Arman has a record of 23 wins and three losses.
