During a recent media interaction, Russian UFC fighter Sharabutdin Magomedov shared his insights on the matchup between Paulo Costa and Roman Kopylov.
Sharabutdin Magomedov, as reported by Telecomasia.net
Kopylov did not undergo training with Rasul Magomedaliev. That’s why I would have bet on Paulo Costa. Although I was surprised by the high odds against him. I don’t bet on sports, but if I did, I would place a decent bet. If Kopylov had trained with Magomedaliev and brought Vladimir Mineev as a sparring partner, I would see that Roman was well-prepared.
On July 19, at UFC 318, Roman Kopylov lost to Brazilian Paulo Costa by unanimous decision. Kopylov has a record of 14 wins and 4 losses, while Costa has achieved 15 victories and suffered 4 defeats in his career.
