Russian UFC fighter Irina Alekseeva, nicknamed "Russian Ronda," commented in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net on the possible return of former UFC champion Ronda Rousey.

Unexpected news, but anyway, her numerous fans will be happy about her return. Although women's MMA has advanced a lot, many people love Ronda and they’ll be waiting for her in the Octagon. I think fights against Holly Holm or Miesha Tate are pretty realistic. Of course, after such a long break, it will be very difficult for Rousey to become champion again, especially with Amanda Nunes returning and Kayla Harrison currently being a powerhouse at her peak.
“From a sports perspective, Ronda was more about hype and popularizing women's fights, but she was still a good athlete – after all, she is an Olympic medalist. Such athletes have a different mindset and learn quickly," Alekseeva said.
