Born to Nigerian parents in the USA, Chidi Njokuani is a veteran of Bellator, LFA, and the UFC, which he joined in 2022. Starting his martial arts career in Muay Thai, "Chidi Bang Bang" was a professional kickboxer before transitioning to MMA. Last year, Chidi Njokuani dropped down to 170 pounds to stop a string of losses at middleweight. It worked instantly, with the Muay Thai stylist reeling off three straight wins, although he missed weight in his last win against Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos back in March. In the fight, which proceeded at catchweight after Njokuani clocked in at 172 pounds, the Dallas-born American secured a second-round TKO.
