Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill has commented on his defeat to Jiri Prochazka at UFC 311.

Fighting against the elite of the elite is an honor and blessing that I don’t take for granted, and yes it comes with some hard lessons but this is my journey and I’m going to set the course back right!!! Negative and hate are from those that know where they stand beneath you and want to bring you down to their level!!

Recall that on January 19 in Los Angeles, Hill lost to Prochazka via technical knockout in the third round.

Prior to this, Hill fought in April 2024 at UFC 300, where he lost to Alex Pereira by knockout in the first round. His record stands at 12 wins and three losses, with one no contest.

Prochazka last entered the octagon in June 2024 at UFC 303, where he also suffered a technical knockout defeat in the second round against Alex Pereira. He boasts a record of 31 wins, five losses, and one draw.
