Jon Jones Confirms Comeback for Title Fight at UFC White House Event

Former two-weight class UFC champion Jon Jones has confirmed that he plans to resume his career for a title bout at a UFC event that will take place on the grounds of the White House in 2026.

Jon Jones in an interview with Joy of Everything
I can’t promise anyone anything, but I have a very strong feeling that I will be on that card. I think it’s going to be incredibly iconic. It’s going to be historic…I would want to take on whoever’s holding the belt at the end of the year.

Jones last fought Stipe Miocic in November 2024 at UFC 309, winning by technical knockout in the third round and successfully defending his UFC heavyweight title. His overall record stands at 28 wins, one loss, and one no contest.

Jones also held the UFC light heavyweight title, which he won in March 2011 at UFC 128, defeating Brazilian Maurício Rua via technical knockout in the third round.
