Former two-division UFC champion Jon Jones announced on social media that he underwent a stem cell transplant.
Jon Jones
I just got done doing some stem cells. This time, I took a little step back and I got some stem cells done. Some things that really needed to get addressed, I wanted to thank the UFC for supporting that. Life is good, your boy is healing. Becoming stronger so that I can finish my old man chapter like a real badass. I think a lot of great things are to come, but all great things take time.
Jones last fought Stipe Miocic in November 2024 at UFC 309, winning by TKO in the third round to retain the heavyweight title. His professional MMA record is 28 wins, one loss and one no contest.
Jones was also light heavyweight champion, winning that title in March 2011 at UFC 128 by TKO in the third round over Mauricio Rua.
