Kazakh fighter Zhumagulov announces career end after loss at UFC Vegas 65

Kazakhstani UFC flyweight fighter Zhalgas Zhumagulov announced the end of his career after his loss to Charles Johnson at UFC Vegas 65.

Zhalgas Zhumagulov
That was my last fight. Thanks to everyone who was rooting for me. I don't want to fight anymore. I'm fighting and fighting and the judges just won't let me have the victory. I'm tired, I'm really exhausted from all the work... I'm not just being emotional right now, I'm saying it like it is.

Recall, on the night of November 20, Zhumagulov lost to Johnson by a split decision of judges.

Zhumagulov previously appeared in the octagon in June of 2022 at the UFC Fight Night 207 tournament, losing to Jeff Molina by split decision. The 34-year-old Zhalgas has 14 wins and eight losses to his credit.

Johnson had his previous fight in July 2022 on UFC Fight Night 208, losing to Muhammad Mokaev by unanimous decision. The 31-year-old Charles has 12 wins and five losses under his belt.
