Koreschkov Explains Why Emelianenko Would Have the Edge Over Arlovski in a Bare-Knuckle Fight

Former Bellator welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov exclusively for Telecomasia.net shared his view on a potential bare-knuckle fight between Fedor Emelianenko and Andrei Arlovski.

It’s hard to imagine a Fedor vs Arlovski bare-knuckle fight. Fedor would have a better chance to win because his striking is more interesting, and he hits hard. Let’s not forget Arlovski’s obvious problem – he doesn’t handle punches well. Fedor’s technique would be more effective than Arlovski’s for a knuckle fight.

On September 1, IBA Bare Knuckle head Alibek Gitinov said they would like to stage a legendary rematch for Andrei Arlovski in their league, without naming the opponent. Fans guessed it could be a bout with Fedor Emelianenko.

In January 2009 at Affliction: Day of Reckoning, “The Last Emperor” knocked out Arlovski in the first round.
