LFA champion Mota signed with UFC and will fight Durden on October 29

LFA flyweight champion Carlos Mota of Brazil has signed a contract with the UFC and will fight American Cody Durden at UFC Vegas 63 on October 29 in Las Vegas.

Mota, 27, won the vacant LFA flyweight title last August at LFA 140, knocking out Rizvan Abuev in the first round. He has eight wins and one loss under his belt.

Durden, 31, had his last fight in June 2022 at UFC on ESPN 38, beating J.P. Buys by TKO in the first round. He has 13 wins and four losses to his credit.
