LFA fighter Tanner Marlow dies in a shooting

LFA light heavyweight prospect Tanner Marlow was killed in a shooting in California on December 24.

Marlow, 30, was reportedly at a home in Bakersfield, California, when an armed man broke in. According to a report by ABC TV 23, Marlow was also armed, and both Marlow and Jacob Malena were killed in a shootout between the two.

The police report states that Malena broke into the house where his ex-girlfriend lived.

Marlow had his first professional fight in 2012 at TWC 14, defeating Louis Barbeau by first-round technical knockout.

In June 2022 at LFA 134, Marlow defeated Joel Guzman by first-round TKO.
