The current UFC light heavyweight champion, Brazilian Alex Pereira, hinted on his social media that he is unlikely to participate in the league's tournament at the White House.

Pereira last stepped into the octagon against Magomed Ankalaev in October of this year at UFC 320. Alex won that fight via technical knockout in the first round and reclaimed the UFC light heavyweight championship belt. His record stands at 13 wins and three losses.
