Former UFC featherweight title challenger Diego Lopes plans to fight again in January 2026, the Brazilian fighter revealed during a conversation with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, whom he met in Milan during the AC Milan vs. Roma match.
Lopes last competed in September at UFC Fight Night 259 in San Antonio, Texas, where he defeated Jean Silva by second-round technical knockout. His MMA record currently stands at 27 wins and 7 losses.
Lopes made his UFC debut in May 2023 against Russian Movsar Evloev, losing by unanimous decision.
