As reported by Telecomasia.net, the bout between the UAE Warriors lightweight champion Amru Magomedov and Martun Mezhlumyan has been canceled. Their fight was scheduled to take place on October 22 at the UAE Warriors 64 tournament in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
The reason for the cancellation was Mezhlumyan’s failure to make weight – at the weigh-in, he weighed 78 kg instead of the agreed 75 kg.
Magomedov last fought against Alex da Silva in February this year at the UAE Warriors 58 tournament. In that fight, Amru won by technical knockout in the first round. He has eight wins and no losses.
Mezhlumyan last stepped into the cage against Italo Gomes in June this year at the UAE Warriors 60 tournament. That fight ended in Martun’s favor by submission in the third round. He has 15 wins and three losses.
