Makhachev Matches Anderson Silva’s Record for Most Consecutive Wins in UFC

Russian UFC champion Islam Makhachev, following his victory over Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 322, not only captured his second career title but also reached a historic milestone in the most prestigious MMA promotion in the world.

With the win in New York, Makhachev earned his 16th consecutive victory in the UFC, matching the legendary Anderson Silva. They now share second place on the all-time list for longest winning streaks in UFC history.

Makhachev’s previous fight was in January 2025 at UFC 311, where he defeated Renato Moicano by submission in the first round. His professional record stands at 28 wins and one loss.

Della Maddalena’s last fight was in May 2025 at UFC 315, where he defeated Belal Muhammad by unanimous decision. His record stands at 18 wins and three losses.
