Two-division ONE Champion Anatoly Malykhin told Telecomasia.net in an exclusive interview that reports about the Asian league's financial troubles are exaggerated.
Anatoly Malykhin, exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
I’ve been hearing about problems for four years: ‘The league has hard times, this and that.’ If you work well and promote the league, you get the same respect back. The treatment towards me is excellent. I’m grateful to Mr. Chatri for everything he has done for my family. He changed our lives for the better. ONE is the best league for me. I try to post tournament news on social media, mention the league in interviews, and train in ONE gear.
Recall that journalist Timothy Wheaton reported that ONE Championship’s financial situation has deteriorated sharply since 2023, with losses reaching $90 million and debts exceeding $530 million since the league’s founding in 2011.
