Former UFC welterweight title contender Jorge Masvidal spoke about former two-division champion Jon Jones.
Jorge Masvidal for Middle Easy
I think Jon could wake up one day and be like, ‘I’m fighting, and I don’t give a damn about nothing.’ Put everything to the side and just go 100 miles per hour in getting in shape and fighting. Part of me thinks like 60% I think he doesn’t fight, you know? I don’t think he’s coming back. I think more chances he goes to a rehab and f—-ing stays there than fights.
Jones last fought against Stipe Miocic in November 2024 at UFC 309, where he won by technical knockout in the third round, defending his UFC heavyweight title. His record stands at 28 wins, one loss, and one no contest.
Jones was also the UFC light heavyweight champion, claiming the title in March 2011 at UFC 128, defeating Brazilian Mauricio Rua by technical knockout in the third round.
