Famous mixed martial arts site MMA Junkie reports that the top UFC promotion intends to organize a fight between Jailton Almeida and Curtis Blaydes.
According to the source, this fight could be the main event of the UFC Fight Night in Sao Paulo, which is scheduled for November 4. It is reported that the fighters have reached a verbal agreement, but the contracts have not yet been signed.
Almeida, 31, won by first-round submission over Jairzinho Rozenstruik at UFC on ABC 4, which took place May 13 in Charlotte, USA. He has 19 wins and two losses under his belt.
Blaydes, 32, lost to Sergei Pavlovich by TKO in the first round at UFC Fight Night 222 in April. Curtis has 17 wins and four losses under his belt.
