Most Western Journalists Give Kara-France Victory in His Fight with Albazi

On June 4 in Las Vegas (USA), in the main event of UFC on ESPN 46, New Zealander Kai Kara-France fought Iraqi Amir Albazi.

The fight lasted the whole distance and ended in favor of Albazi by split decision. The majority of Western journalists did not agree with the judges' verdict. Only two journalists agreed with Amir's 48-47 win, the other 19 favored Kai, 48-47 and 49-46. The data was published on MMA Decisions.

Kara-France fought in July 2022 against Brandon Moreno at UFC 277. In that fight Kai was defeated by TKO in the third round. He has 24 wins and 11 losses under his belt.

Albazi competed against Alessandro Costa at UFC Fight Night 216 in December, 2022. That fight ended in favor of Amir by knockout in the third round. He has 17 wins and one defeat under his belt.
