Former Bellator champion Andrey Koreshkov spoke exclusively to Telecomasia.net about his upcoming fight against Magomed Umalatov, set to take place on June 13 at a PFL event.
Andrey Koreshkov exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
I’m happy they gave me this fight and an opportunity to keep competing. This is a chance for me to come back and take revenge. It’s a good matchup for me. Yes, there’s a risk. There always is. But I’m confident in my abilities and I aim to win. I’ve learned from our first encounter. I have experience. Now my chances are higher this time compared to our first fight.
It’s worth noting that their first matchup took place on April 19, 2024, where Umalatov won by a unanimous decision. Koreshkov holds a record of 28 wins and six losses, while Umalatov has 17 wins and one loss.
