Former ONE and Bellator champion, as well as ex-UFC fighter Ben Askren, took to social media to express his gratitude for the support he received from his wife, Amy Askren, before and after his lung transplant surgery.

Askren's last fight was against famous YouTuber Jake Paul in a boxing match in April 2021. In that bout, Ben suffered a knockout loss in the first round. His MMA record includes 19 wins and two losses, with one fight ruled a no contest.
Askren last fought against Demian Maia in October 2019 at UFC Fight Night 162, where he experienced a defeat by technical submission in the third round.
