Ngannou Wants to Return to UFC After PFL Contract Comes to an End

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou announced that his contract with the PFL league is coming to an end and did not rule out a return to the UFC. He spoke about this in an interview with Ariel Helwani.

According to Ngannou, he is "getting very close with the PFL contract" and expects the league to give him a fight before the contract expires. When Helwani asked about the timeline, the Cameroonian answered briefly: "Soon."

During the interview, Ngannou also confirmed that he would be ready to fight Jon Jones at a UFC event at the White House, which is scheduled to take place on June 14, 2026.

Jones last fought Stipe Miocic in November 2024 at UFC 309. Jones won that fight via technical knockout in the third round and defended the UFC heavyweight title. He has a record of 28 wins, one loss, and one no-contest.

Ngannou last fought Renan Ferreira in October 2024 at a PFL event. Francis won that fight via knockout in the first round. He has a record of 18 wins and
