On May 4 in Des Moines, USA, Nickal lost to de Ridder by technical knockout in the second round during the co-main event of UFC on ESPN 67.
Nickal's previous fight took place in November 2024 at UFC 309, where he secured a unanimous decision victory over Paul Craig. He now holds a record of seven wins and one loss.
