O’Malley Clarifies Comments About Potential Retirement

Former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley clarified recent remarks about possibly retiring early. On a recent episode of his podcast he said he might never return to the Octagon.

Sean O'Malley for MMA Junkie
I mean, you just never know, life comes at you fast. There's no plans as of now to stop fighting, but just putting life into perspective, you never know what's going to happen. Every time I get on the mats and I'm training, I'm grateful for that session.

O’Malley’s last fight was in June, when he headlined UFC 316 in Newark against Merab Dvalishvili. He lost that bout by submission in the third round. His professional record stands at 18 wins, three losses and one no-contest.
