Former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley has named reigning lightweight champion Ilia Topuria as the greatest MMA fighter of all time.

Topuria’s latest bout was a first-round knockout victory over Charles Oliveira at UFC 317 in June of this year, where he captured the UFC lightweight title. He holds a perfect record of 17 wins and zero losses.
Conor McGregor last fought Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021, losing by technical knockout due to a leg injury. McGregor’s record is 22 wins and 6 losses.
Sean O’Malley most recently lost by submission in the third round to Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 316 in June 2025. His record is 18 wins, 3 losses, and one no contest.
