The fight between former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira of Brazil and American Beneil Dariush will happen in the co-main event at UFC 289 on June 10 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada.
Recall that Oliveira and Dariush were originally scheduled to fight on May 7 at UFC 288, but the Brazilian withdrew due to an injury.
Dariush, 33, had his last fight at UFC 280 in October 2022, beating Mateusz Gamrot by unanimous decision. He has 22 wins and four losses under his belt.
Oliveira, 33, lost to Islam Makhachev by second-round choke at UFC 280 last October. He has 33 wins and nine losses on his record.
