Former UFC lightweight champion American fighter Sean O'Malley responded to a question about when he plans to end his professional career.
Sean O'Malley
I wanna fight till I’m 37, 38. I’ll fight as long as my body holds up. For that to be the case, I have to take recovery as serious as I take training, and I have been doing that, and I think it’ll pay off. I’m 30 now. I think I got some good years in me.
Recall, on June 8 in Newark (USA) at the UFC 316 tournament O'Malley will hold a rematch with the champion of the bantamweight division Merab Dvalishvili. The first meeting of the fighters, which took place in September 2024 at UFC 306, ended with Merab winning by unanimous decision. He has 19 wins and four losses to his name. Sean has 18 wins and two losses. One fight was recognized as a no contest.
