O'Malley “Won't Say No” to Title Fight

Former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley expressed his desire to fight Cory Sandhagen, should Sandhagen defeat the current division champion Merab Dvalishvili.

Sean O'Malley on the Overdogs Podcast
I’d feel a little weird coming off two losses to fight for the title again. But I’m not gonna say no to the title fight, especially against Cory.

For reference, the title fight between Merab Dvalishvili and Cory Sandhagen is set to take place on October 5 in Las Vegas, USA, as part of UFC 320.

O'Malley's last fight occurred in June 2025 at UFC 316, where he lost to Dvalishvili by submission in the third round. His professional record boasts 18 wins and three losses, with one fight declared a no contest.
