A user under the nickname @Tony_has_died created a petition on the famous Change.org website, demanding that the UFC strips Jon Jones of his title.

Aspinall is ready to fight Jones. Jones refuses to fight him. Therefore, we as fans must let Dana White know: It is time to strip Jon Jones of the heavyweight title. He clearly has no intentions of fighting anytime soon.
So far, the petition has been signed by more than 21 thousand people.
Jones last stepped into the octagon in November 2024 at UFC 309, defeating Stipe Miocic by technical knockout in the third round. He has 28 wins and one loss on his record. One fight has been ruled a no contest.
