UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira responded to middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev’s offer to share the octagon.

Thanks for congratulating me but all I want is a super fight, I wanna fight at heavyweight, but all I can say is thank you.

On October 5, in the main event of UFC 320, Pereira defeated Magomed Ankalaev by technical knockout in the first round and reclaimed the title. His record is 13 wins and 3 losses.

Khamzat Chimaev last fought in August 2025 at UFC 319, winning a unanimous decision over Dricus du Plessis. He holds 15 wins and no losses.
