Former UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira has asked promotion president Dana White to arrange a third fight with middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

Earlier, Dana White announced that Pereira will have his next fight at light heavyweight.
Pereira, 35, had his last fight on the night of April 9 at UFC 287, losing to Israel Adesanya by knockout in the second round. Pereira defeated Adesanya by TKO in the fifth round at UFC 281 in November 2022. He has seven wins and two losses under his belt.
