PFL Fighter Shabliy Suspended for Six Months for Anti-Doping Rule Violation

The press service of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) reported that Russian fighter Alexandr Shabliy received a six-month suspension for violating anti-doping rules.

It is specified that recombinant erythropoietin was found in Shabliy's sample taken on March 19 of this year. Also the investigation revealed that the substance got into the fighter's body unintentionally, so the term was not increased to a year.

Shabliy last stepped into the cage against Usman Nurmagomedov in September 2024. That fight lasted the entire distance and ended in a defeat for Alexandr by unanimous decision. He has 24 wins and four defeats to his name.
