Pico Breaks Silence After Loss in UFC Debut

American featherweight Aaron Pico has commented on his defeat to fellow American Lerone Murphy in the co-main event of UFC 319.

Aaron Pico
Last night wasn’t my night, that’s the fight game. I’m grateful for my team, my family, and everyone who continues to support me. Wins and losses both teach lessons and I’ll come back sharper, stronger, and better prepared. My story is not over.

On August 17 in Chicago, Lerone Murphy knocked out Aaron Pico in the first round.

Pico's previous fight took place in February 2024 at the PFL vs. Bellator event, where he won against Henry Corrales by technical knockout in the first round. His record now stands at 13 wins and five losses, while Murphy boasts an impressive record of 17 wins, no losses, and one draw.
