American featherweight fighter Aaron Pico will take on British competitor Lerone Murphy on August 17, in the co-main event of UFC 319 in Chicago, USA.
Originally, Pico was set to fight Russian Movsar Evloev at UFC on ABC 9, scheduled for July 26 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, but Evloev withdrew from the bout.
Most recently, Pico fought Henry Corrales in February 2024 at the PFL vs. Bellator event, winning by technical knockout in the first round. He currently holds a record of 13 wins and four losses.
Murphy’s last fight was against Josh Emmett in April of this year at UFC on ESPN 65, where he won by unanimous decision. His record stands at 16 wins, one draw, and no losses.
