An audio recording of Colby Covington's testimony has been released online, following Jorge Masvidal's alleged assault on him, which took place in March of this year in Miami.
Recall that Masvidal was charged with aggravated battery. However, Jorge refused to plead guilty to the offense.

Just as we were about to cross the street, I got hit from the side. I saw who it was. I saw his eyes. It was Jorge Masvidal. I noticed his hair sticking out from under his hoodie, but he was wearing a mask. After the punch, he said: "You shouldn't have said a damn thing about my kids." So I could easily tell it was his voice, it was his eyes, it was his hair, I know exactly who it was.
Covington and Masvidal met in the octagon this March at UFC 272. The bout lasted the entire distance and ended in Colby's favor by a unanimous decision of the judges. He had 17 wins and three losses on his record. Jorge has 35 wins and 16 losses.
