Former two-division UFC champion and Olympic freestyle wrestling champion Henry Cejudo, in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net, assessed the chances of two-time Olympic champion Abdulrashid Sadulaev becoming a three-time Olympic wrestling champion.
"Can Sadulaev become a three-time Olympic champion? Yes, Sadulaev is very good. When I first saw him wrestle, I thought, “This dude is going to be the greatest in history.” But then he lost to Akhmed Tazhudinov, his teammate. I saw their pictures. So we will see what comes of that," Cejudo said.

But Sadulaev just needs to focus on wrestling, that's all. Not talk about anything else. Don't do that. And just compete, man. Because Abdulrashid is special. He was made by God.
In 2024, the IOC did not allow Sadulaev to participate in the Olympic Games in Paris. Abdulrashid also could not compete at the 2025 World Championships due to problems with his European visa.
