
UFC president Dana White spoke about a recent meeting with President Donald Trump, during which they discussed organizational details for the upcoming event at the White House scheduled for July 2026.

This last time I was at the White House, I went up on the roof of the White House and they got snipers all over the roof of the White House. It’s pretty crazy. But, yes, the security is going to be a massive issue, because at the end of the day, Secret Service’s job is to protect the president, and I don’t know how it’s going to work out as far as having people there live on the lawn of the White House. It’ll be under 5,000 [people] though.
Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor earlier said it would be an honor for him to fight in the octagon at the White House event. Former heavyweight champion Jon Jones has also shown interest – he has re-entered the UFC testing pool to be eligible for the card of the forthcoming event.
