Reigning UFC women's flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko has been named the Female Fighter of the Year by MMA Junkie. In 2025, Shevchenko successfully defended her title twice.
Her first defense came in May at UFC 315, where she defeated Manon Fiorot via unanimous decision. She followed this with another successful defense in November at UFC 322, securing a unanimous decision victory over Zhang Weili.
