Former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen cast doubt on ex-two-division champion Jon Jones’s statement that he trains five days a week.
Chael Sonnen said on "Good Guy/Bad Guy" with Daniel Cormier
Here's the problem with it: Nothing has slipped out on Instagram. Nobody is claiming to work out with Jon Jones. No one's claiming they saw Jon Jones work out. And most importantly, nobody's saying that they're the trainer. I mean, if he came out here to Oregon and we saw him in the gym, there'd be a line and people who would want autographs and it would be a really big deal.
Jones’s last fight was against Stipe Miocic in November 2024 at UFC 309., Jones won that fight by technical knockout in the third round and defended the UFC heavyweight title. His record stands at 28 wins, one loss, and one no-contest.
Jones was also the UFC light heavyweight champion. He first won that belt in March 2011 at UFC 128, when he defeated Brazilian Maurício Rua by TKO in the third round.
