A featherweight bout between Diego Lopes and Jean Silva is in the works and may take place at UFC 318, which takes place July 19 in New Orleans. This is reported by West Till Death.
Lopes last fought against Alexander Volkanovski this past April at UFC 314. Diego was defeated in that fight by unanimous decision. He has 26 wins and seven losses to his name.
Silva last stepped into the octagon against Bryce Mitchell at the same UFC 314 event. That fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended in Jean's favor with a choke hold. He has 16 wins and two losses under his belt.
