Brazilian light heavyweight fighter Johnny Walker will fight against China's Mingyang Zhang in the main event of the UFC tournament, which will be held on August 23 in Shanghai. This is reported by an insider named realkevink.
Walker last fought against Volkan Oezdemir in June 2024 at UFC on ABC 6. Johnny was defeated by knockout in that fight in the first round. Walker has 21 wins, nine losses and one no contest on his record.
Zhang last stepped into the octagon against Anthony Smith in April of this year at UFC on ESPN 66. That fight, which was stopped in the first round, ended in Mingyang's favor by technical knockout. He has 19 wins and six losses under his belt.
