Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland has commented on the decision made by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which has suspended him for his involvement in a fight at Tuff-N-Uff.

I wasnt even vocal in the corner. The guy just wanted to antagonize me for a highlight.... What frustrates me is even during the fight he was insulting me. The athletic commissions job is to prevent this from happening. There was no warning. No penalty. They tell merhab to shut up all the time.. Even the announcers were calling it.
Strickland last stepped into the octagon in February 2025 at UFC 312, where he lost to Dricus du Plessis by unanimous decision. He currently holds a record of 29 wins and seven losses.
