Contessa Patterson, the wife of wrestler Syko Stu, reported that the athlete, who was previously attacked by Raja Jackson — the son of former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson — has been discharged from the hospital.
Stuart has been released from the hospital and is now home resting. He sustained a serious head injury and was unconscious upon arrival at the ER. His injuries include trauma to both the upper and lower jaws, a laceration to his upper lip, and a fracture to the maxilla bone, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of several teeth. He has a long road of recovery ahead, but he remains in good spirits despite everything he has been through.
The incident took place during the night of August 24 at a Knokx Pro Wrestling event. According to media reports, Jackson Jr. entered the ring and attacked a wrestler known as Syko Stu (real name Stuart Smith). Jackson slammed the wrestler onto the canvas and delivered about 20 strikes to the fighter, who was already unconscious. The injured man was hospitalized and taken to intensive care in serious condition.
Raja Jackson last fought Steven Collins at UFL 3 in August 2023, losing by unanimous decision. His professional mixed martial arts record stands at one win and one loss.
