Famous American boxing trainer and analyst Teddy Atlas has stated that the lightweight fight in the UFC between Ilia Topuria and Paddy Pimblett should take place at the event hosted at the White House.

Topuria and (Paddy) Pimblett would be a good combination on the White House lawn because even though Pimblett doesn't have the skills that he has, Pimblett is more known because he's very creative, and he's very good at promoting himself.
Topuria last fought against Charles Oliveira in June 2025 at UFC 317. In that bout, Ilia secured a victory by knockout in the first round, capturing the UFC lightweight championship belt. He boasts an impressive record of 17 wins and no losses.
Pimblett last stepped into the octagon against Michael Chandler in April of this year at UFC 314. That fight ended in favor of Paddy, with a technical knockout in the third round. He currently holds a record of 23 wins and three losses.
