Ecuadorian UFC fighter Marlon Vera recently found himself in a dangerous situation when a man armed with a knife approached him in his driveway.
Vera, who was busy with his truck outside his home in California at the time, quickly grabbed a shotgun from his vehicle and aimed it at the assailant. Realizing the threat, the man immediately fled the scene.
Previously, Vera's home was robbed during his title fight against Sean O'Malley at UFC 299. It’s worth noting that on May 4, Marlon is scheduled to fight Mario Bautista at a UFC event in Des Moines, USA.
Vera last competed against Deiveson Figueiredo in August 2024 at UFC on ABC 7. In that bout, which went the distance, Marlon lost by unanimous decision. His record stands at 23 wins, 10 losses, and 1 draw.
