On the night of September 28 in São Paulo, Brazil, at the Spaten Fight Night 2 boxing event, UFC Hall of Famer Wanderlei Silva fought former WBO and WBA super featherweight champion Acelino Freitas.

During the fight, Silva repeatedly violated rules and was disqualified in the fourth round. Afterward, a brawl broke out in the ring, and one of Freitas’s team members knocked Silva out.

Silva’s last MMA fight was against Quinton Jackson in September 2018 at Bellator 206, where he lost by technical knockout in the second round. His MMA record is 35 wins, 14 losses, one draw, and one no-contest.
