UFC chief executive Dana White answered a question about whether it would be possible to see WBA light-middleweight titleholder Terence Crawford and UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria in the same ring, after Topuria had earlier promised to knock out the well-known boxer with his first punch.

I certainly hope not.
Ilia Topuria last fought in June 2025 at UFC 317, defeating Charles Oliveira by first-round knockout. His record stands at 17 wins and no losses.
On the night of September 14 in Las Vegas, Terence Crawford will fight Canelo Alvarez for the undisputed super-middleweight world title. Crawford has 41 wins (31 by knockout) and no losses on the professional boxing stage.
