The fight between Russian Umar Nurmagomedov and American Cory Sandhagen will take place on August 6 as part of the UFC tournament to be held in Nashville (USA).
Sandhagen last fought against Marlon Vera this past March at UFC on ESPN 43. Cory won that fight by split decision. He has 16 wins and four losses on his record.
Nurmagomedov last entered the Octagon against Brazilian Raoni Barcelos in January of this year at UFC Fight Night 217 tournament. That fight, which was stopped in the first round, ended in favor of Umar by knockout. He has 16 wins and no losses under his belt.
