UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja has spoken about Joshua Van, who is the main challenger for the title.
Alexandre Pantoja
The guy is 23 and going to fight for the belt, for the world championship. I think this guy is going to be my toughest challenger. He's young. He's hungry and he doesn't make wars like I did in the past. I found a couple fights from Joshua Van. He does an amazing job with Rei Tsuruya. He defended all the takedowns. He beat (Bruno Silva) in the last fight.
On June 29, in the co-main event of UFC 317 in Las Vegas, Pantoja secured a victory against Kai Kara-France by submission in the third round, bringing his professional record to 30 wins and five losses.
Van won his fight against Brandon Royval at UFC 317 by unanimous decision, now holding a record of 15 wins and two losses.
