UFC president Dana White told Fox News how he plans to hold a promotion event on the grounds of the White House.
Dana White, quoted by MMA Junkie
We're going to have a stage where music – you know, we'll have bands playing all day. And then people will be able to bring blankets and, you know, lay around and watch the fights. We'll have screens up everywhere for everybody. We're literally going to take over Washington, D.C., that week.
Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor earlier said it would be an honor for him to step into the Octagon at a White House event. Former heavyweight champion Jon Jones hasn’t stayed out of it either – he has already rejoined UFC’s testing pool to be eligible for the card of the upcoming event.
